The property was pleasant with welcoming and pleasant stuff in all areas, I enjoyed the stay. The breakfast spread was excellant with cheese and otherwise usual food, as for instance.

During my recent stay, I loved the quick walk to the peaceful Bon Tea Room, just a few steps away, and how easy it was to hop on a bus to explore more of Edinburgh's iconic sights, making my city strolls super convenient and enjoyable.

It's a fancyfamily-friendly hotel nestled in a Victorian style building. The rooms are brand-new here with a bedside table and an electrical heated shower, for instance. Exceptionally caring personnel is when another member of staff rang in sick.

I appreciated how helpful and friendly the hotel staff were; they were always eager to help locate appropriate bus routes, suggest attractions to visit, and always wanted to make sure that the guests were at ease. The rooms are quaint and very comfortable, and the location isn't far from the heart of Edinburgh at all.

staff were helpful and friendly the hotel was pleasant and clean minor repairs were attended to very quickly the owner was nice and welcoming
weekend stay Friday sat night if you fancy a lie in on the weekend think again breakfast stops serving at 9am Saturday and Sunday not ideal then i come to the traditional Scottish breakfast as it is advertised on the menu and the web site cooked breakfast consists of one fried egg one sausage banger beans one rasher of bacon one hash-brown half a fried tomato and a potato smiley face mmmmmmmmmmmm not a traditional Scottish breakfast in fact i worry about the impression that the overseas visitors got of traditional Scottish fair being served I am Scottish my self i was embarrassed for the owners of the hotel traditional Scottish breakfast needs potato scones a small bit of haggis some black pudding fried bread not a macains smiley face

Convenient and cozy
The location is super handy, just 15 mins from the airport and nearby bus stops make getting to downtown easy. Room was clean and comfy, and the staff were friendly. Only bummer was the road noise. It could get a bit loud sometimes. Breakfast at a local cafe was definitely a highlight!

The welcoming staff in the Hotel especially the Asian Gentleman who greeted us on arrival and departure he was also on hand to sort out any queries we had. The breakfast was wonderfull with anything we wanted as a no problem to them. So many friendly shops nearby / accross the road also.
The double bed was a bit on the hard side, but with enough Red Wine the uncomfortableness was not there

The hotel was located in a really convenient place for my trip. They let me check in early and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size - I took a "double bed for single use" room at a small premium.
The place was a bit run down or "jaded" in places - E.G. a dripping gutter onto a flat roof outside my window - but nothing that would stop me going there again :)

A solid choice for families
Hotel was perfect for a weekend trip with my daughter and granddaughters. Everything was clean and neat, and beds? Oh, they were comfy like you wouldn't believe.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you know, it was still acceptable for what we got.
